A wooden plate is also available with a side groove to allow input of a surface-mounted cord running along the ceiling. This wooden plate can also be used to create a purely decorative effect, accentuating the light's placement on the ceiling. In this case, the plate can also be ordered without a cord groove.Extension rods can also be used to convert this light into a ceiling pendant.
