The Ankacrona lamp features clean lines and a design that was very popular in the 1920s for placing on buffet tables or in windows. The pleated, hand-sewn shade with a slightly conical shape was inspired by the pre-modernist period. The shade is attached to an integrated brass rod, distinguishing it from simpler models where the shade clips onto the light bulb and can wobble, making it look crooked. This ensures that the shade will always sit straight and stay in place.
