The Kensington retro-style shower kit is of very high-quality and can fit in almost any space. The 20-cm (7.87 in.) shower head is angled and the sieve plate is removable for descaling. The entire upper part can be rotated and adjusted in height. The shower handle holder bracket can be pushed along the rod and can be rotated as well. This set is very similar to the shower set - Maxima Classic without a faucet but has a different shower head and hand shower.
This shower set is supplied with a thermostatic shower faucet with 150-160 mm cc (5.91-6.3 in.) distance between the water inlets (hot/cold). The faucet set has R20 thread upward for connection of shower set with shower head. The shower faucet combines a classic design with the modern functional convenience of a thermostatic mixer valve which guarantees a constant temperature. The flow is adjusted with the white grip handle while the knob in front of the faucet is used to regulate the temperature. There is a temperature safety valve control on the knob. The white grip handle is made of a faux porcelain resin. For detailed dimensions see Figure 2.
The shower can also be specially ordered in finishes other than brass, such as chrome (found below under Related Products), aged brass or aged copper. The shower set is made of plated metal, which means that there are no vital components in plastic that can easily break. The only exception is the shower handle grip, which is typically made of white resin. Resin is a faux porcelain material.
