Facts & Info - Build a radiator cover of newel posts

Radiators aren't really known for being particularly beautiful and it can be hard to make them fit an old-fashioned style. To cover the modern radiator, you can use a radiator cover. Important to consider is not to build the protection too tight - the air must be able to circulate, both in front, above and below the radiator. Otherwise, it is likely that the heated air will be locked in, which will neither benefit your economy nor the environment. Also, keep in mind that it has to be easy to open to access the thermostat. Then it's just the imagination that sets limits!

Why not get inspired by this beautiful radiator cover found on Narvavägen in Stockholm, which is made of newel posts. Unfortunately, we do not have exactly these posts in our store but a wide range of similar ones!
