Swedish-made serving tray featuring a design by textile designer William Morris (1834-1896).
Active in the late 19th century, William Morris was a leading figure in the British Arts and Crafts movement. He is best known as a designer for his distinctive wallpaper and textile patterns, which are still in production today.
The "Seaweed" pattern, created around 1901, captures the underwater movements of plants and is a beautiful example of the Art Nouveau style's flowing curves.
The tray is environmentally certified with FSC certification, which stands for the Forest Stewardship Council, an independent, international member organization that promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests.
