Time period: Circa 1900 - 1930
Material: Untreated polished brass
Length: 97 mm (3.82 in.)
Included in price: A pair of handles for one door, two handle rosettes, screws and 8 mm (0.315 in. or 5/16 in.) square spindle.
If you have a modern door it is probably pre-drilled with two 40 mm (1.57 in) holes, one for the handle and one for the lock. To mount the handle and escutcheon on such a door, you must first install wood cover plugs in the 40 mm (1.57 in.) holes. Use standard wood glue on the sides of the cover/plug. To facilitate attachment of the handle, predrill the cover plates before screwing the handle plates and escutcheons.
